Bollywood Actor Politician Kangana Ranaut was Slapped at the Airport

The incident involving Kangana Ranaut, the newly elected BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and a CISF security officer at Chandigarh Airport has garnered significant attention. Ranaut accused CISF officer Kulwinder Kaur of slapping her during a verbal altercation at the security check area. The altercation reportedly stemmed from Ranaut’s refusal to place her phone in the tray during the security check. The situation escalated, leading to the officer allegedly slapping Ranaut and expressing support for the farmers’ protest.

The CISF officer was suspended after the incident, and an FIR was lodged against her. Ranaut, after arriving in Delhi, met with CISF Director General Nina Singh and other senior officials to explain the incident. An inquiry committee of senior CISF officers has been established to investigate the matter further.

Ranaut addressed the media and her supporters, confirming her safety and providing details about the incident. She reiterated her stance on the farmers’ protest and expressed concerns about increasing extremism in Punjab. The incident underscores the ongoing tensions related to the farmers’ protests and has sparked a wider discussion about security protocols and political sensitivities in India.
